Vor knapp einen Monat hatte ich mal wieder richtig Lust auf frische, gefüllte Pasta. Es ist zwar schon ne Zeit her, aber ich dachte mir, ich veröffentliche das doch noch. Warum so spät? Ganz einfach, ich hab’s vergessen und heute hab ich die Bilder wieder gesehen 🙂

Nearly a month ago I was fancy to have fresh and stuffed pasta. It some time ago but I thought I post this yet. Why that late? I simply forgot it and today I saw the pictures again 🙂

Skirt Steak vom MmVSkirt steak from the butcher of trust

Der MmV ist ja glücklicherweise ein guter Freund von mir und Freunde denken an einander 🙂 Mein Freund und Metzger Andreas gab mir beim letzten Steak-„Päckchen“ noch eine „kleine“ Dreingabe: Ein komplettes Skirt. Heute haben wir uns dieses leckere Teil vom Rind einverleibt und es wird mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein.

Fortunately the butcher of trust is a good friend of mine and friends think of each other 🙂 My friend and butcher Andreas gave me a „small“ present with the last „small packet“: A complete skirt steak. Today we ate this really delicious part of the beef and it won’t be the last.

Am Freitag bekam ich mal wieder ein „kleines Paket“ Fleisch vom MmV. Unter anderem waren auch 12 kg T-Bones und Porterhouse dabei und da wir derzeit Erntezeit bei Kartoffeln und Zucchini haben, gab es gestern eben Steak mit Bamberger Hörnla und Zucchini-Pfannengemüse.

On Friday I got a „small packet“ from my butcher of trust. Among others there were 12 kg of T-bone steaks and porterhouse and because at the moment it’s time to harvest potatoes and zucchini yesterday we had a porterhouse with „Bamberger Hörnla“ (a really good type of potatoes) and zucchini of the pan.

Männergelaber bei Flank und BierMen’s slipslop with flank and beer

Heute war mein Freund Ghandi mal wieder in Hartland City und wir ließen es uns bei einem simplen Flank Steak vom MmV (Andreas, es war mal wieder klasse!) und gutem Bier mal so richtig gut gehen. Dazu wurden selbstredend sämtliche aktuellen Verschwörungstheorien beleuchtet.

Today my friend Ghandi was in Hartland City and we just had a really good time with a simple flank steak from my butcher of trust (Andreas, again it was really great!) and really good beer. Furthermore we discussed of course nearly all conspiracies.

Dankeschön mit SchichtfleischA thank you with layered meat

Letztes Jahr kam bei uns ja ein neues Dach auf die Garage und die vergangene Woche wurde auch die geforderte Brandschutzdecke montiert. Der große Teil der Arbeit wurde von Roland und Rainer gemacht und ich möchte mich an dieser Stelle dafür noch mal ganz herzlich bedanken. Gestern gab es als kleines Dankeschön ein kleines Essen bei uns: Schichtfleisch, griechischer Bauernsalat und hausgemachtes Ciabatta.

Last year we got a new roof for the garage and then last week the needed fire protection ceiling was attached. Most of the workload was done by Roland and Rainer and I want to say thank you by heart for the really good work. Yesterday we made a dinner to say thank you: layered meat, Greek salad and homemade ciabatta.
